Hardin’s Creek is a series of ultra-limited release whiskeys from Master Distiller Freddie Noe (James B. Beam Distilling Co). It represents the next generation of whiskey — a legacy 200 years in the making — that sold out in 10 days. We launched the brand by creating a digital world for aficionados to dive into, developing a distinctive look that evolves with each new release and breaking a few social rules (some longggggg post copy) along the way.

Hardin’s Creek is not for the average joe of whiskey drinkers. It’s for the experts, the connoisseurs, the most refined whiskey palates. We approached social through a microblogging lens. Batched “capsule” postings for each release, paired with long (like really long) post copy. We’re not an always-on brand, choosing to only post when we have a new release. Our approach gained us 1,000+ followers in a week.
